This recipe is perfect when you want a snack that is not sweet. One month we sent recipe cards in our greeting card subscription as a bonus and one of our subscribers wrote out a recipe on it and mailed it! I finally made it and it is good! I am spread it on toast and crackers. Bring it to a picnic.

Aleppo Herb Spread (Jody Berry)

14 oz Feta (Sheep is best)

3 TBSP Chopped Fresh Herbs of choice: (parsley, thyme, rosemary, oregano)

1-2 cloves garlic

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 cup good olive oil

1 tsp aleppo pepper (you could substitute Hungarian sweet paprika and cayenne)

Break feta up with the tines of a fork. Then use the back of the fork to break into finer crumbles. Add more olive oil if desired. Let sit at room temp for an hour for flavors to infuse. Keeps 1 week, enjoy!  Share your fav recipes and I will share them here!
